Subscriptions, connections and routes
Start by identifying where the problem occurs, then work through it step by step. Checking account access, subscription imports, app routing and payment records separately is usually more effective than repeatedly reinstalling the client. Expand a question below to see the answer, or sign in to the user panel to submit a support ticket for individual help.

Accounts & subscriptions
Keep your account details safe, update the right subscription and use the same valid configuration on your new device.
Do I need an email address to get started? How should I keep my account details safe?
No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. After opening the user panel, make sure you’ve saved your username before downloading a client or getting your subscription. Use a password you don’t use on other sites, and store it in a trusted password manager. Never post your password and subscription link together in a public forum, or share screenshots of the panel that show your credentials. If you can’t sign in, check your username, keyboard input and password manager entries. If the issue persists, find the support ticket link on the Contact page. Account recovery cannot rely on an email address that was never linked to your account.
Where can I find my subscription link, and how do I update it in my client?
Sign in to the user panel and look for subscription options in your account overview. Copy the link or import it into your client using the method shown in the panel. On devices where you’ve already imported the subscription, find the relevant entry in the client’s subscription or configuration list, update it, then make sure that configuration is selected. If the update fails, check that the device is online, the link is complete and the service status in the panel is normal. Menu names vary by platform, so follow the interface in your current client. Subscription links contain access credentials; don’t paste them into public webpages or unfamiliar online conversion tools.
Do I need a different plan for a new device? Which operating systems are supported?
There’s no device limit. Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux are supported. Switching devices doesn’t require a new plan: sign in to the same account on your new device, open the downloads section in the panel, get the client for your platform and import your current subscription. Clients are available through the panel on all supported platforms except iOS. For iOS, follow the instructions shown in the panel. After importing, check the selected configuration and connection status. Disconnect your old device if you no longer use it. Unlimited devices doesn’t mean each device gets its own separate data allowance; check your account usage in the panel.
What should I do if I shared my subscription link by mistake or think it’s been exposed?
Stop forwarding the link, and delete any messages or public screenshots that include it where possible. Then sign in to the user panel and look for an option to reset your subscription or update its credentials. Follow the instructions, or open a support ticket if you can’t find the right option. After credentials change, devices with the old subscription may no longer be able to update; get the new link and import it again. Removing a configuration from a client does not revoke exposed credentials. If your account password was exposed too, change it and check your usage and account status in the panel for anything unusual.
Connections & troubleshooting
Check your local network first, then your configuration and app. Keep the original error message.
The client says it’s connected, but webpages won’t load. What should I check first?
First determine whether the issue is with your basic internet connection or with access after connecting through the client. Disconnect the client temporarily and check that your local network can reach commonly used websites. Reconnect, then check that your subscription is active, the right configuration is selected and the route is available. If other proxy tools are running on the device, quit them to prevent conflicting system proxy or routing settings. Test your browser and the affected app separately to see whether everything fails or only one service. Don’t start by reinstalling everything; keep the error message and steps you took, as they can help pinpoint where the problem occurs.
Why does my browser work, but a particular app won’t use the proxy?
Browsers and apps may use different network paths. Check whether the client’s system proxy or traffic interception setting is enabled, then confirm the expected configuration is selected and that routing rules aren’t sending the app direct. Some apps don’t use the system proxy and may require the client’s traffic interception feature; follow the client’s instructions and pay attention to any system permission prompts. Apps may also keep old connections open, so quit and reopen the app after changing rules. If only one app still fails, note its name, the current mode, exit region and error message, then contact support. Don’t route all traffic through the same exit indefinitely just to work around the issue.
What should I do if a subscription update fails or no routes appear after import?
Return to the user panel to check your subscription status and get the link again. Avoid using an old link from a chat history, as it may be truncated or expired. When copying, don’t include spaces, explanatory text or line breaks. Use the subscription import option in your client instead of opening the link as a regular configuration file. If you already have a configuration, make sure you’re updating the right subscription entry. If it still fails, note the exact error shown in the client, your platform and how you imported the subscription. Before opening a ticket, hide the full subscription URL and credentials. Share only what’s needed to troubleshoot, and don’t expose the link again while describing the issue.
What information should I include in a support ticket about a connection issue?
Sign in to the user panel and open the ticket form. Describe your platform, client, network environment, affected app, selected route and the error you see. Mention whether your local network works when the client is disconnected, and list the steps you’ve tried, such as updating the subscription, switching routes or reopening the app. Screenshots should show the error, but hide passwords, subscription credentials and unrelated personal information. Add follow-up results to the original ticket so the issue can be investigated in context. Don’t just say that you can’t connect, and never submit your full account password. A clear sequence for reproducing the problem is usually more helpful than a pile of unrelated screenshots.
Speed & routes
Consider your local network, connection path and target platform separately, then choose a route for how you use the service.
Why does my connection slow down or video buffer during peak hours?
Pause bandwidth-heavy tasks such as downloads and cloud sync, and check that your local Wi-Fi is stable. Keep the same app open while comparing different route types or exit regions. Avoid changing several settings at once, so you can identify what made a difference. If only one video or website is slow, the issue may be with that service’s delivery route rather than all routes. Try lowering video quality to see whether playback becomes stable, then restore your preferred settings gradually. If several routes keep having problems in similar situations, open a ticket with the time, route and symptoms. Don’t judge long-term performance from a single speed test.
How do I choose between an IEPL private line, a relay route and a direct route?
These terms describe connection paths; no one route type is best for every app. IEPL private lines, relay routes and direct routes are useful options to compare when troubleshooting, but your experience also depends on your local network, exit region and the service you’re accessing. If you’re new to the client, keep its default split-routing configuration so apps follow the configured rules. If an issue comes up, compare routes for the affected app. For services that require a particular region, choose an exit that meets your needs rather than relying on the route name alone. The panel and your current subscription show which routes are available. A route type does not guarantee a particular speed or uninterrupted availability.
How many countries and routes are covered, and why does the list change?
The service covers 120+ countries and 220+ routes. These figures describe the service overall; check the user panel and your updated subscription list for currently available options. Maintenance, route changes and configuration updates can affect what appears in the client. If the list differs from an old screenshot, update your subscription instead of continuing to use a saved configuration. Choose a route based on the region your target service requires and how your local network performs; there’s no need to try every exit. If a route you use regularly disappears, try another suitable exit and contact support to check its status. Don’t use an old list to guess when maintenance will end.
Can switching routes fix a region warning in an AI tool or streaming service?
Switching routes can help determine whether the issue is related to your exit path, but it can’t resolve every regional or account restriction. First confirm that the app is actually using the intended exit, then check the service’s requirements for account region, content rights or eligibility. After changing exits, quit and reopen the app so it doesn’t keep using an old session. If regular webpages work but the service still shows a warning, record the full message and open a support ticket with the app name and exit region. VPNYoung provides network connectivity. Account checks, content availability and feature access are determined by the platform, so being able to connect to a service doesn’t guarantee that every feature will work.
Billing & refunds
Check your order and account records before changing plans, resolving a payment status or requesting a refund.
How much do monthly plans cost, and when does data reset?
Monthly plans: ¥9.9/month includes 60GB · ¥18/month includes 250GB · ¥28/month includes 500GB. Data resets monthly on your activation date. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days. Consider your typical web browsing, file transfers and video use, then compare that with your actual usage in the panel. Don’t estimate your data needs based only on the number of devices. Check the account and order details in the panel to confirm a reset date or upgrade. If you have questions about usage or validity, open a ticket with the relevant order details. Don’t estimate the credited amount based on calendar months or a simple price ratio.
What’s the difference between a data package and a monthly plan?
Data packages: ¥158/300GB · ¥358/1000GB · ¥658/3000GB. Data lasts until it’s used and never expires. Monthly plan data resets each month on your activation date, which makes it easier to manage usage month by month. A data package draws down its remaining balance, so you can decide when to use it. Never expires describes the validity of the data package; it doesn’t mean unlimited data or explain how it combines with or is deducted alongside a monthly plan. If your account already has another plan, check the order details in the panel before making changes. If it’s unclear how your data balances carry over, confirm with support before proceeding.
Which payment methods are supported, and what if the panel doesn’t update after payment?
Alipay, WeChat Pay and USDT are supported. Choose a plan, complete payment through the order process in the user panel, then return to the order page to check its status. If you’ve paid but the page hasn’t updated, first make sure you’re signed in to the account used to place the order, then check that order. Don’t repeatedly create orders or pay again. Keep the order ID and payment receipt, and open a ticket with the payment method and status you’re seeing. Hide any receipt details that aren’t needed for verification. For USDT, follow the current order page exactly for the payment network, wallet details and instructions. Don’t rely on old screenshots or information forwarded by someone else.
How do I request a refund, and what information should I provide?
VPNYoung offers a 30-day no-questions-asked refund. To request one, sign in to the user panel, open the ticket form, explain that you’d like a refund and provide your order details and payment method so they can be checked. You don’t need to provide proof of a technical issue. If you’re also having connection problems, you can describe them for review, but there’s no need to keep reinstalling the client to request a refund. See the Refund Policy and Terms of Service for eligibility and procedures. Track your request through the ticket replies. Don’t post payment receipts or account credentials in public comments, and don’t treat refund processing time as a fixed guarantee.
